| Welcome efleaa.com
sellers !! This tutorial is to help
you learn how to use your new templates in your efleaa.com auctions.
Template instructions
There are many ways to edit
your listing with your templates depending on how you create your listings. This
tutorial will work with using your efleaa account and using this
FREE practice board. This
tutorial will also use photobucket to
insert your photos into the template. Both are FREE services. Photobucket is one
of the top web hosting sites to store your auction photos and they are
completely free.
Once you receive your template
code, open the word-pad document. It will look like this:
You will see how I have highlighted and
colored the places you will edit. No having to search through a pile of code.
First you will see where you want to add the title to your listing. Simply erase
just the "ADD YOUR TITLE HERE" and replace with your title. Don't worry about
the font sizes and colors. These are always set at ARIAL and set at the most
desired sizes. You can always adjust these later right in your efleaa account
when creating your listing. More on this later in the tutorial.
Next is the picture of your code above, you
will see where you add your pictures into your template. Every template will
automatically come with 3 picture places. To add more pictures, simply copy the
entire line starting with the <P and ending with the /P> The p align is
the code that centers your pictures for you. Then, just paste that code after
the last picture code. Add as many as you need. If you do not want to use any
pictures or need to remove some, just erase the entire line.

To add your picture from your photobucket
account, (This will work with any photo hosting site, just use the url address
for your picture from your photo hosting account) First upload your picture from your computer to
your photobucket account (or other photo hosting account). Once your picture is
uploaded to your photobucket account, it will look similar to the one on the
right.
The default setting actually gives 4
different links for each photo. I have set my account up to only show the
1 code needed for template use. That is the "Direct Link". You DO NOT want to
use any other link given for your photo from photobucket, as they will either not work
correctly or they
will make your picture clickable back to photobucket. Copy the DIRECT LINK
code, go to your template html code. Erase only what is highlighted in red and
replace with your direct link url address. That's it. Your picture is now
inserted into your template. To add a little more control over your
pictures, you can resize them in the html code, or you can resize them in your efleaa listing. To make it easier you can add a little code to your picture. The
standard picture size is roughly 500 pixels in width. To add this size to your
picture use the following code:
<p align="center"><img src="http://yourpictureaddress.com"
width="500"></p>
DO NOT add a height. By just adding the
width, your monitor will automatically adjust the height to the correct size. If
you take a stab and add your own height you could cause the picture to look
distorted.
Once you are finished with your pictures you
can scroll down in your template HTML code and see where you add all your information. Just erase the blue
highlights and type in your required information. A good recommendation. If you
use the same general information, you can first type in all your terms then save
your word-pad to your computer so every time you open it, all your important
information is pre-saved for you. Saving you a lot of time.
Now, you can either go directly to your
listing at efleaa.com or you can check your template at this
FREE practice board. Copy your
entire template HTML code and paste into the text box at the practiceboard
website:
 Empty Text Box |
Text Box with your template code
pasted inside. |
Now, you can click on the "see HTML" button
at the bottom left and your template will appear in the empty space below. This
is a great way to check your listing for any errors before you list it. Once you
are happy with your template, you can head over to your efleaa.com listing.
Begin your listing as normal until you get to the item description area as shown
in the picture below.

Here is where you are going to paste your
HTML code. As shown in the picture above, you want to click on the 2 brackets
<>,see the red arrow above. This will open up a small window where you can edit
the HTML of your listing, example shown below.

Copy the entire HTML code of your template
and paste into the source editor box as shown in the picture to the left. Click
on the "apply" button at the bottom right corner. This will insert your template
into your description area as shown in the picture below. Now click on the "ok"
button next to the "apply" button. This will close down the source editor box.
Because of the limited size of this
description box, you will not be able to view the entire template at once. The
template is sized to roughly 1000 pixels wide and will look just like the
listing of which you purchased the template from.
Now you can scroll down inside the
description box to check all your text colors and sizes to make sure they are as
you want them to be. Here you can also easily edit your text by using the tools
provided at the top, see pink arrow in the picture below.
To edit your text, drag and highlight the
text you wish to edit and use the font type, color, and size that you wish for
your text.
Once you are happy with your template, you
can continue on with your listing.

Remember, every template comes with my
guarantee. If for any reason you have any problems, questions, or concerns, just
